We visited Moab this past weekend and it was breathtaking, as always! What a great way to renew energy and lift the human spirit! We stayed at the Pack Creek Campground again and really enjoyed it! The showers and laundry on site makes it so comfortable and the staff is incredible! They also provide a 50% military discount, which we love!!! We arrived midmorning and setup our MIG camp and headed to the Grandstaff Hiking Trail, with our 4 kids (16, 14, 9, and 2) and our new little hound dog pup, Giallo. It was Giallo's first hike and first opportunity to get used to his leash, we went all in! Thankfully he made it most of the way and was use to his leash by the time we finished!!! This 4.3 mile hike was beautiful!!! About a mile in it began to sprinkle and just in time, we found an overarching red rock to hang out under as the rain became very heavy for about 20 min. We contemplated turning back but the kids didn't want to!! After the rain stopped waterfalls were around every corner, we saw nearly a dozen of them, and it sure was worth enduring the storm!! The journey of crossing over the creek several times was fun! It took Giallo until nearly the last crossing to do it without hesitation, hahaha. It was a little slow going up with the little pup and a 2 year old who insisted on walking most of the way, but when we arrived to the beautiful Morning Glory Natural Bridge it was all worth it!! In our excitement to get up the trail we forgot our bag of snacks which led to a pretty slow decent, especially for our 9 year old. Lesson learned: always remember snacks for your adventures!! We headed back to our MIG camp for some beef stew and hot showers! It was a restful evening, a little rain pitter pattered on the roof, but we awoke rejuvenated and ready for some more adventure. We packed up and headed to the south side of Moab and hit a couple of Jeep trails in the F150....we can't wait to get our Jeep in a few months! There are some great trails and really beautiful camp sites, we will for sure go back and explore more on this side of Moab.
Cheers to ADVENTURE! We look forward to seeing you out on your adventures!!!
Excellent off road expo this year!!! We met some great people and loved showing off the features of the MIG!! We have a model (APEX Ultra) to tow behind your Jeep and it is neat to match your wheels and tires! We love to Jeep and know many of you do too! The average weight of the APEX Ultra is 800 lbs (varies pending wheels and tires) and can literally follow your Jeep nearly anywhere. The great thing is if you want to setup camp and go 4x4, you don't have to pack everything up like you might on a roof top tent. Plus!!!! Plus, you can stand up inside, with nearly 7' of head clearance, and put your pants on in the morning!!! We currently have two show models we are wanting to sell at a discount of $8500. Call 801-230-6363 today and we can hook you up!
We also have a model (APEX XL) to tow behind your side by side!! The tandem axle on the XL is sometimes confusing to people, but we have put this APEX XL to the test on trails all over, including Hell's Revenge in Moab. This tandem axle allows for the trailer to maintain stability as you climb the toughest rocks with your machine!!! A great feature about the tandem axle is there is very little tongue weight on your side by side, the wheels, tires and axles hold all that weight!!
We gave away several MIG rental vouchers and we congratulate the winners! What a blast we had!! Thanks for a great expo SL Off-road!!!
We are very honored to have been selected by Gription Gear as one of their top five gear picks at Adventure Gear Fest 2016. We were completely surprised!! There were many products to choose from... 200 plus vendors in fact...they picked us! The MIG Apex XL is considered our UTV and ATV camp trailer. It can also be towed behind any vehicle on the freeway at 75 MPH because it meets all DOT requirements. The most versatile camp trailer on the market and in our MIG lineup; it transitions from the highway to offroad adventure seamlessly. The other great products selected include 1. Emberlit'sSprongs and Camping Stove; 2. Enso Rings 3. Aurora Optics and ranked number 5, Sioeye.

Its great when you can combine adventure with your job! Who does that you might ask?
Colton Marsala does it and he does it well!!
He purchased a MIG adventure camp trailer last year for the purpose of his business, photography! (Hopefully he uses it as a tax write off too!)
He is a Nikon fan through and through, shooting with a D7000 and D7200. We are partial to Nikon too! Colton says, “my favorite lens would have to be my 10-24mm. I love the wide perspective its able to capture and how close it allows me to get to my subject.”
He has a passion for photography and has enrolled in the Salt Lake Community College photography program to educate himself more. He says that the professors really care about their students and they have a passion for photography, which has allowed him to learn a lot from their program. We can only imagine what type of photographer he will be when he completes the program, his work is already very impressive!
His favorite photographs were a hard choice, but he narrowed it down to his top three for us. As of this moment, they are:
1- Hidden Falls, Big cottonwood Canyon
2- Skyline Arch, Arches National Park
3- Willow Lake, Big Cottonwood Canyon
As I review his work I imagine he is a natural but find myself intrigued by who may have inspired him along the way, “I’m a huge fan of Joshua Cripps Photography. He's a spectacular landscape photographer. His images have always inspired me to get outside and find my own unique perspective. The way he captures natural light is brilliant.”
We asked him how his MIG camp trailer has impacted his photography experience? “The MIG allows me to spend more time in the elements in comfort. I spend less time stressing about the weather because I know the MIG will keep my equipment dry from snow and rain. Backpacking and sleeping in a tent is a lot of fun but its nice to sleep off the ground when I'm out shooting for multiple days.”
Colton has an eye and use of light that draws you in, check out his work atcoltonmarsalaphotography.com and screenshot your favorite in the comments below. He has some incredible photographs!!

With so much fun things to do on the weekend it's sure nice to know that we have 5 days to plan for the weekend.
When the rain starts to fall every minute counts. You need a trailer that is quick and easy to setup. To show you how fast the Mig Adventures Systems Apex series trailer are to set up we held a race between an Apex trailer, 3 man tent, and a pot of water.
Welcome to the new MIG Adventure Systems. As you may have noticed, with the release of the 2014 trailers we are making a few changes. If you have been following Mig Trailers you have noticed a few of these changes already. First of all, we are introducing a new name. Along with the new name comes a new logo. Although we will miss the old Mig Trailers name and logo we are excited to start new. We hope you enjoy our new website. We have been working hard to create a mobile friendly website that contains even more great information. Along with the new website we have started a blog. We want to help you find new ideas to make the outdoors even more enjoyable. We will share with you exciting locations that you may not have considered before as well as fun products to make your next adventure even more enjoyable. If you have any ideas or suggestions please feel free to share them with us.
